Ah, it seems like only yesterday that we saw the stable launch of Android 10. Wait a minute, no it doesn't — that was nearly five months ago! Regardless, the LG Android 10 update roadmap is just landing now.
If you own a flagship LG smartphone from the past few years or a recent mid-ranger, you will very likely see Android 10 on your device before the end of 2020. However, some of you will need to wait a bit longer than others to see it.
This LG Android 10 update timeline comes courtesy of an Italian press release (h/t XDA Developers) from the official LG newsroom. We're not sure why LG didn't post the release to other countries and in more languages, but oh well. It's a safe bet the update timeline below will apply globally as well as for Italy:
- February 2020
- LG V50 ThinQ
- Q2 2020
- LG G8X ThinQ
- Q3 2020
- LG G7 ThinQ
- LG G8S ThinQ
- LG V40 ThinQ
- Q4 2020
- LG K40S
- LG K50
- LG K50S
- LG Q60
As one would expect, the list makes it clear that LG is prioritizing its flagships over its cheaper devices.
If you're wondering why the 2019 flagship LG G8 ThinQ is missing from the list, it's because that's the only phone from LG that already has Android 10. The update started rolling out here in the United States just a few days ago.
